Daniel L. Doctoroff
Daniel L. Doctoroff (born July 11, 1958) is an American businessman and civil servant. He was promoted to CEO of Bloomberg L.P. in July 2011 after serving three years as president of the company. Prior to his career at Bloomberg L.P., he was deputy mayor for economic development and rebuilding for the City of New York under Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. He also served as president of NYC2008 and NYC2012, the organizations created to coordinate New York City's bid for the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Lastly, Doctoroff is a member of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation. Doctoroff announced his resignation from Bloomberg LP on September 3, 2014.
