Jones toured with John Farnham during his Chain Reaction tour in 1990/91 as Lead Guitarist and was also featured on the album of the same name Jones was previously married to New Zealand born Australian actress Rebecca Gibney during 1992-95, which ended in divorce. Since reverting to his birth name of Irwin Thomas he has released music as a solo artist, first for BMG and then as an independent artist. Since 2004 he has also been involved with a Melbourne band called Electric Mary; he is also currently involved in a band called She Said Yes, led by Tania Doko, the former lead singer of Bachelor Girl.[citation needed]
