Stephanie Beacham
Stephanie Beacham (born 28 February 1947) is an English television, radio, film and theatre actress. Beacham began appearing on British television in 1967 and made her big screen debut in the 1970 film The Games, before starring opposite Marlon Brando in the 1971 film The Nightcomers. In the 1980s, she became well-known on British television in the BBC series Tenko (1981–82) and the ITV series Connie (1985), before going on to play Sable Colby in the US television series The Colbys (1985–87) and in the final season of Dynasty (1988–89). For her role in the NBC sitcom Sister Kate (1989-90), she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. In the 2000s, she had high-profile roles as Phyllida Oswyn in Bad Girls (2003-06) and as Martha Fraser in Coronation Street (2009). In 2010, she starred as Maria Callas in a UK touring production of the play Master Class. Her other films include Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972), Schizo (1976), Troop Beverly Hills (1989) Unconditional Love (2002) and the upcoming Wild Oats (2015).
