Tim Federle
Tim Federle is an award-winning American writer and former Broadway dancer. He was born in San Mateo, California, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Federle's debut novel, Better Nate Than Ever, was named a New York Times Notable Book of 2013. Five, Six, Seven, Nate!, the sequel to Better Nate Than Ever, was named an American Booksellers Association Best Children’s Book of 2014. Federle also writes for adults. His novelty cocktail recipe book, Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist, won the Goodreads Cookbook of the Year award. Prior to his writing career, Federle appeared in the original Broadway casts of The Little Mermaid and Gypsy (musical) (Bernadette Peters revival), was a replacement cast member in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and worked on the resident choreographic staff of Billy Elliot the Musical.
