John the Apostle (Aramaic: ܝܘܚܢܢ ܫܠܝܚܐ Yohanan Shliha; Hebrew: יוחנן בן זבדי Yohanan Ben Zavdai c. AD 6 – c. 100) was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus according to the New Testament.
